Premio NCR3s
The NC3Rs is seeking nominations for its 2016 3Rs prize, an annual award which recognises primary research which has made an exceptional contribution towards scientific and technological advances in one or more of the 3Rs in medical, biological or veterinary sciences.
The 2016 competition is now open for applications. Completed nomination forms must be emailed to 3Rsprize@nc3rs.org.uk by the deadline of 4pm (GMT), Friday 9 December 2016.
The winner(s) of the 3Rs prize will be awarded a grant of £28k, £10k more than in previous years, plus a personal award of £2k. Highly-commended entries receive a £4k grant and £1k personal award. The prize, sponsored by GlaxoSmithKline, is open to researchers from academia and industry, based anywhere in the world, who have published a piece of primary research in any peer reviewed journal during the past three years (between 1 September 2013 and 1 September 2016).
